The time machine is still a device to be invented, but in Argentona (Barcelona) there is a restaurant where you can travel back in time without it. More oblivious to fashion than the king of glam, El Racó d'en Binu is a bastion of haute cuisine... from 40 or 50 years ago. The restaurant shone in the eighties, it once had two Michelin stars and then lost them. But its tireless owners, Francesc Fortí and Francina Suriñach, refused to change their style, and continued to serve puff pastries filled with lots of Hollandaise sauce, papillotes, Wellington steaks, soufflés glacés, crepes Suzette and other dishes that are almost extinct in modern fine dining places. That is, until today. If you want to discover this wonderful relic restaurant, laugh with the wonderful Francina and Francesc, admire the old-fashioned fantasies they cook up and, in short, go back to the golden age of butter and flambé, all you have to do is hit play on the video above. http://bit.ly/racodenbinu Subscribe to our channel: http://cort.as/-9ysp Visit: https://elcomidista.elpais.com Follow us on Facebook: /elcomidista Follow us on Twitter: /elcomidista Follow us on Instagram: /elcomidista Welcome to the official EL COMIDISTA channel on EL PAÍS!
