The blockades of faculties in Serbia have continued, and today a group of employees of the University of Novi Sad has also demanded the resignation of Rector Dejan Madić. Some members of the academic community believe that he is unworthy of his position because his college has stated that the blockades are accompanied by political demands and that they have no place at the faculties. Professional associates, teachers from several faculties, previously paid tribute in silence at 11:52 am to the 15 victims of the accident in Novi Sad. This is a symbolic act that has been held for days before every protest rally at universities in Serbia. Through the blockades, students are also demanding responsibility for the collapse of the canopy in Novi Sad.
