The Bolshevik Revolution and the Civil War caused a massive emigration wave in Russia, which also became a refuge in interwar Czechoslovakia. Similarly, Russians who, for various reasons, reject Putin's authoritarian regime and Russia's brutal war against brave Ukraine are heading to the Czech Republic and Europe today. The debate was moderated by historian and philosopher Petr Hlaváček. Part of the debate was the launch of Nikolaj Kelin's book, which was published by the Jota publishing house under the title Memories of a Don Cossack and a Czech Doctor.
