The perfect braised dish comes to your plate together with creamy cooked risotto and fresh, harmonious gremolata. This dish brings the Dolce Vita straight to your dining table. Get in the mood for your next Italian vacation with this recipe: Recipe: 4 veal leg slices 2 tbsp flour 2 carrots 2 celery 2 onions 3 garlic cloves 2 tbsp tomato paste 250 g red wine 700 ml beef broth Bay leaf, parsley, thyme Salt, pepper Instructions: Season the leg slices generously with salt and pepper and lightly dust with a little flour. Fry on both sides in a large roasting pan (with a matching lid) until golden brown and remove. Now put the vegetables, cut into small cubes, into the roasting pan and sweat well, add tomato and deglaze with wine. Fill everything with beef broth and add the leg slices together with the herbs. Put the lid on and braise in the oven at 150°C for around 2-3 hours. GREMOLATA ½ bunch of parsley 1 lemon ½ clove of garlic Roughly chop the garlic and parsley and pound in a mortar with a little salt to form a coarse paste. Season to taste with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon zest.
