The Pantheon of Agrippa, also known as the Pantheon of Rome, is one of the architectural masterpieces in the Italian capital and is the best-preserved building in ancient Rome. The Pantheon was built during the time of Hadrian, in 126 AD. It is named after Agrippa because it was built on the site of the Pantheon of Agrippa, which had been destroyed by fire in 80 AD, in 27 BC. At the beginning of the 7th century, the building was donated to Pope Boniface IV, who transformed it into a church, and it has been preserved in perfect condition to this day.
