About :

The Ikarus EAG E98 with registration number GOL-307 served at the Kisalföld Volán intercity plant in Sopron and then in Győr between 1998 and 2021. Shortly after it was scrapped, Rajmund Horváth and Adrienn Kocsis bought it, and in May of this year they were able to take the old Ikarus home from the scrap line at the Kapuvári site of Volánbusz. The event will surely be memorable, as Adrienn celebrated her 28th birthday on May 28, 2022, the day the bus was brought home. GOL is already in the careful hands of the young couple in the yard of their house, where, according to the plans, even an Ikarus may arrive in the near future. In the video series "The New Life of an Ikarus" by gyoribuszok.hu, Ikarus are presented that once served Volán of the Kisalföld and his legal successors and were preserved for posterity.
