Our friends from RVM on the other side of the border in Germany have a 2-year trial for a new bus line from the regional government, namely ExpressBus X80 'Baumwollexpress' from Bocholt via Vreden and Gronau to Bad Bentheim, which only serves the most important intermediate stops, such as train stations. What do we 'Dutch' have to do with this? The bus connects to public transport at almost every transfer point #crossing the border to the Netherlands! Bocholt: C7 to Dinxperlo, C8 to Barlo and C11 to Aalten. Oeding: B7 and T55 to Winterswijk. Vreden: R71 to Winterswijk and B2 and B3 to Oldenkotte. Alstätte: B12 to Ter Huurne and T88 to Enschede. Gronau: RB51 and RB64 to Enschede. Bad Bentheim: RB61 to Hengelo and InterCity's to Amsterdam. Hopefully this is of some use to you and I hope to see you soon on board the X80! (this video was made on my own initiative and not sponsored by RVM, I paid for my own bus ticket)
