A sprawling complex was created with magnificent residential buildings, the unique double chapel, mighty walls and towers, and the large outer bailey. With around 30,000 square meters of built-up area, Neuenburg is three times as large as Wartburg and one of the largest castles in Germany! The central buildings such as the palace and the keep are still clearly visible today. Visitors gain insights into the history of construction, dynasties, and rule.
