◼︎ Many fragments of ancient jars remain in Yongyeon Village, Bannam-myeon, Naju-si, Jeollanam-do. Jar kiln remains were excavated in Oryang-dong, Naju-si, Jeollanam-do, which suggests that there was a large-scale jar production complex. It is presumed that wooden coffins were replaced with jars at that time to prevent damage to the body due to additional burial. Meanwhile, the inland lighthouse in Naju-si shows that there was active international maritime activity in the Yeongsan River basin. Various relics have revealed that there was a ruling power other than Baekje in the Naju region, but specific facts about the kingdom have not yet been revealed. #KoreanHistory #History #HistorySpecial #HistoryJournal
