The most dangerous hike ever: VAL CANALE with meters of snow! (Pasubio)

#pasubio #excursion Hello guys and welcome back! This week's video takes us back to a fully winter climate (even if it is actually from April 29) because in this excursion I climbed along the Val Canale, a legendary ascent route to the Papa Refuge and Mount Pasubio, located between the Strada degli Eroi and the 52 tunnels of Pasubio. This itinerary starts just below Pian delle Fugazze, on the border between Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige, near the restaurant "Al sentiero", currently disused I think seeing the external conditions of the place. Via path 300 you start to climb along this long mule track first on an exposed slope, then gradually it goes north until you find yourself right below the Achille Papa refuge (which at times can be seen from the valley floor). The CAI travel time indicated at the start of the path is 2 hours and 30 minutes, however with the path clear of snow (unlike how I found it that day). The return along the road of the heroes should have more or less the same timing, only with the aggravating factor here too of numerous snow dumps along the road with meters of snow to climb over. At a certain point along the road of the Heroes I was joined by two guys from a nearby town with whom we shared a stretch of road, even if the videos I shot together are relatively few, looking at the post production. Once past the Havet gallery I was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief: I had managed to complete the most complicated excursion I had ever had to face! Even more difficult than the crests (always of the Pasubio) in the winter version, also in that case with snow and gullies to cross diagonally, but this Val Canale led me to climb almost vertically along a real vajo, then to really beat my track step by step on the snow dumps.
