The Grande Escursione Appenninica is one of the most challenging and beautiful treks in Italy. A 425 km long trail that takes you walking along the ridges of the Apennines, overlooking the valleys below and which in a multi-day trek, sleeping in a tent, is able to transform you from the inside. This is the first episode of my attempt to travel it, done in October 2021, starting from the Passo dei Due Santi, between Emilia and Liguria, in the direction of Bocca Trabaria in the Marche. ????
