The Grande Escursione Appenninica is one of the most challenging and beautiful treks in Italy. A 425 km long trail that takes you walking along the ridges of the Apennines, overlooking the valleys below and which in a multi-day trek, sleeping in a tent, is able to transform you from the inside.
