What influence does it have on the Earth? What happens during a solar eclipse? On the occasion of the eclipse of August 11, 1999 and the 30th anniversary of man's conquest of the Moon, the wizards return to the origins of the Earth's natural satellite. Fred went to the Côte d'Azur Observatory to observe the Moon more closely. With him, we discover its mountains and craters and we learn to calculate to the nearest centimeter the distance that separates it from the Earth. He then shares with us the extraordinary experience that was the total eclipse of August 11. Located in a total eclipse zone, we observe with him the Moon which gently nibbles the Sun, the flying shadows which appear with the penumbra and the solar corona which offers us to see the magnificent protuberances of the Sun. "C'est pas sorcier", the science and discovery magazine presented by Fred, Jamy and Sabine. Aboard their laboratory truck, the three presenters take us to unusual and spectacular sites to explain the world around us.
