Sermon by His Eminence Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, may God have mercy on him, entitled: The month of Rajab, what has been proven of its merits and what has not been proven. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said in the authentic hadith: “Whoever takes a path seeking knowledge, God will make easy for him a path to Paradise. The angels lower their wings in approval of the seeker of knowledge. The scholar is asked to be forgiven by all those in the heavens and the earth, and the fish in the depths of the water. The superiority of the scholar over the worshipper is like the superiority of the moon on the night of the full moon over all the other planets. The scholars are the heirs of the prophets. The prophets did not leave behind dinars or dirhams. They left behind knowledge, so whoever takes it has taken a great portion.” The channel’s goal is to remind people of God and to publish fatwas, sermons, and lessons from the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah.
