Aleksander Zupsmann, who is almost 100 years old, has been running a mill on the Iskna stream in Kütioru for almost 70 years. When we started our film, Ale was still living in his house and making serious plans to start the mill again in the spring. Fate intervened - Alexander fell ill, and after recovery, his relatives took him to live with them. In the spring, Aleksander comes to see his old mill, starts it up and meets his childhood sweetheart Asta - the woman who once warned Ale about being on the deportation list and thus saved him from the journey to Siberia. In the film, Aleksandr's long-time dream also comes true - he gets to go to Tartu's modern mill to find out how grain is ground there. It doesn't matter, says Ale - everything is more or less the same as in his mill. Produced by film studio Ikoon in 2012.
