In an age of endless information, biased commentary, and algorithmically driven channels, the concept of media objectivity is being questioned like never before. Are those who know the truth marginalizing the media, which focuses on being equally fair to all sides of a story? Why is it worth striving for objectivity, even if we agree that it is unattainable? Is it possible to both achieve the truth and remain objective? In the program “Akiratyje: žinaisklaida” we discuss this with Vaidotas Beniušis, editor-in-chief of the news portal “15min.lt”, video blogger Skirmantas Malinauskas, and Deimantas Jastramskis, professor at the Journalism and Media Research Center of Vilnius University. The program “Akiratyje: žinaisklaida” is supported by the Media Support Fund. 👉 SUBSCRIBE TO OUR CHANNEL: https://rb.gy/9qcmj4 👉 READ NEWS: https://www.15min.lt/ 👉 JOIN US ON FACEBOOK: / 15min 👉 FOLLOW OUR INSTAGRAM: / 15minlt #15min
