Next Thursday, October 26, the long-awaited new film by director Tomáš Mašín, titled Brothers, will be released in cinemas. The film tells the story of the Mašín brothers, who, together with three other members of their group, escaped from communist Czechoslovakia to West Berlin. The Mašín brothers are played by Jan Nedbal and Oskar Hes. "I didn't have time to meet Ctirad Mašín - unlike Oskar, who managed to meet Josef Mašín and I was there. So I had a somewhat limited source of information from which to draw," says Jan Nedbal. And Oskar Hes adds: "Josef Mašín didn't talk to us about the acting, he just tried to bring the story closer to us."
