December 1, 1944 was the day Pablo Emilio was born in the village of Rivnegro. The third child in a family of nine. The one who started making small and big mistakes since he was a teenager. Stealing gravestones and then polishing them and selling them to smugglers, until he reached bigger jobs. Cigarette smuggling, robbery, kidnapping and hostage taking. Jobs that could make money from them - which was a rare commodity in the Escobar family - although not very honorable money. It seems that the upbringing of his teacher's mother had not left much of an impression on him. This was the beginning of the path that gradually turned a Colombian farmer into the biggest drug trafficker in history. Someone who once controlled 80% of cocaine trafficking in the world and in 1989, according to Forbes magazine, ranked seventh in the list of the ten richest men in the world; With a wealth that was estimated at around 35 billion dollars at that time.
