In 1948, two young men met in the fishing town of Hundested. Hans Peder Larsen and Søren Malte Hjort. Both left with a dream of becoming self-employed fishermen. In 1949, they combined their dreams and started their own company and began as bottom line fishermen from Hundested and Lynæs. In 1995, Hans Peder's son, Hans Christian, followed them for a whole year, with a camera in hand. It was the year when fishing was put on the shelf and half a century as partners for better or for worse came to an end. In 2017, Hans Christian got help from his two sons, Linus Valdemar and Andreas Valdemar, to complete the film, which has resulted in an extremely watchable, beautiful and moving film.
