About :

On April 27th and 28th, 2024, the Weserbergland Steam Railway Association organized what are probably the last special trips on the Rinteln-Stadthagen railway line. The Esslinger-DTW 01 (built in 1951, ex. Regentalbahn) from Cargo Logistik Rail-Service GmbH in Barleben was used for this. This made it possible to recreate the feeling of traveling that was experienced from 1952 to 1965 with the Esslinger railcar of the Rinteln-Stadthagen Railway. Come with us to the foothills of the Bückeberge north of the Weser and say goodbye to this charming branch line on what may be the last passenger train journeys. Enjoy the ride.
