Seokmun Breakwater Chungnam's largest free sea fishing spot~! Fish species: black rockfish, flatfish, mackerel, tuna, squid, croaker, rockfish, croaker, squid, cuttlefish, hairtail, saury, eel, goby In a word, Seokmun Breakwater is the largest breakwater in Chungnam, and it has the best sea conditions, and it is the largest free fishing spot in Chungnam where many anglers who want to go sea fishing can visit with peace of mind. Seokmun Breakwater has Seokmun Wharf to the east and Masumpo Port Wharf to the west. It boasts a huge size of 10.6km in total length, and unique numbers indicating the location of the breakwater are written every 350m. The breakwater numbers on the map I marked are almost exactly the same as the actual measurements, so I think it will be helpful if you refer to them when selecting fishing spots in the future. To explain the location of Seokmun Breakwater, there is the number, but it can also be expressed by the three features. There is a three-way intersection near No. 11, a store parking lot near No. 17, and a parking lot near No. 22. There are also three stairs that can be used to go up and down the breakwater; please note that there are stairs near No. 9, No. 17, and No. 24. Parking is allowed in areas marked as parking lots, and shoulder parking is allowed anywhere toward the breakwater. However, parking is not allowed between No. 30 and No. 29 and No. 28 due to a no-parking pole and iron fence. It is very unfortunate that there are only three restrooms despite the vast distance of 10.6 km. In particular, the restroom building near Seokmun Wharf is closed, and although there are a few temporary restrooms, they are poorly managed and very dirty. We recommend that you use the restrooms at Masum Port or the Tourist Information Center as much as possible. If anyone in charge of the Marine and Fisheries Division of Dangjin City Hall or anyone around them sees this video, I would like to ask you to make an effort to resolve the bathroom issue as soon as possible. Since the breakwater locations are indicated by numbers, the fishing point locations will be indicated by English letters. Point A is the Seokmun Pier Point. Point B is the stone wall point next to the water gate. Point C is the seawall point, which is in areas 26-28. Point D is the most popular area for anglers, which is in areas 20-25. Point E is the point near the store parking lot, which is in areas 16-18, which is quite popular. Point F is in areas 8-9 near the stairs. Point G is the Masumpo Pier Point. Point H is the seawall point, which is a must-see for car campers in Masumpo. As you can see on the map, the points are quite wide and there are many points to choose from. Now, let's take a closer look at the points. Let's start with the Masumpo Port Pier on the west, then the Seokmun Pier on the east, and then the Seokmun Breakwater in the middle. H-Point is the Masumpo Port Seawall Point. Masumpo Port has convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants, and it is also equipped with restrooms, so it is a popular spot for those who enjoy car camping. Also, when the tide is low, a wide tidal flat opens up, making it a great environment for families to enjoy the tidal flats and seawall. The seawall catches a lot of clams, razor clams, razor clams, and conches. At high tide, the water rises up to the stone wall, but if you look at the video of the low tide on the lower right, the water recedes a great distance, and there is a solid section in the tidal flat that you can even drive through. G-Point Masumpo Port Pier is located on the west side of the Seokmun Breakwater. You can fish anywhere at high tide, but at low tide, you can only fish at the end of the pier. You can expect to catch sea bass, croaker, tuna, mackerel, cuttlefish, and goby. At high tide, fishing is available at the entrance of the pier, but fishing is not possible at low tide. There are a few anglers at sections 1 and 2 of the Seokmun Breakwater at high tide, but there are no people at all at low tide. Sections 1 to 7 of the Seokmun Breakwater are the least popular sections. The building you are looking at now is the Dangjin City Tourist Information Center, which you can use for free. You can get tourist information and use the observatory. The best part is that there is a clean restroom on the first floor. The place you are looking at now is the A Point Seokmun Breakwater Pier located on the east side of the Seokmun Breakwater. The Seonggumi Pier next to it is a good location as a point, but it is blocked off due to a private property entry ban, so please understand that it was excluded from the point description. There are a few people who park on the side of the road during high tide and cast right in front. Please note that you have to walk down quite a bit to fish during low tide. Many people fish at the pier from mid-tide to high tide and mid-tide, and many people come down the stone wall to fish with lures during low tide. The main catches are
