The Multifamiliar Juárez was a huge housing unit located south of the Roma neighborhood, whose construction in the early 1950s turned it into a city within a city in a very futuristic concept that combined architecture with art, filling its inhabitants with pride. However, the seismic factor that was little known at the time, and its scarce structural reinforcement to withstand the constant earthquakes that hit Mexico City year after year, limited its existence to only 33 years, with September 19, 1985 being the day that marked its end.
