#Ahmed_Mansour highlights in front of the #Orontes River and the famous waterwheels of #Hama, the joy of the people of Hama, the ancient city, for its liberation from the sectarian #Nusayri regime on December 5, 2024, which extends to November 13, 1970, when #Hafez_al-Assad fired the mercy bullet on his political opponents, and arrested his comrade #Salah_Jadid, and put him in prison until his death in 1993, as well as President #Nour_al-Din_al-Atassi, then tightened his grip on the reins of power, as the first president from the #Alawite sect of Syria. Ahmed Mansour visited Hama on the third day of its liberation, as part of a tour that includes #Idlib, #Aleppo, #Homs and #Damascus, the videos of which he will publish successively, and documented the celebrations of the people of Hama by firing bullets in celebration of victory, liberation and emancipation from the yoke of slavery, which was inaugurated by the corrupt and tyrannical Assad regime for nearly 54 years. Pointing out that the people of Hama paid a heavy price, as there is no house in it without a martyr, prisoner or displaced person, indicating that all Arab peoples wish to live as happy as the people of Hama and the liberated areas, and he said: "God willing, everyone will live it soon." On February 2, 1982, Hama witnessed one of the worst massacres in its history, which lasted 27 days, when the Syrian army bombed it with heavy weapons, resulting in the killing of about 40,000 people and more than 17,000 missing, after field executions, killing entire families, ripping open the bellies of pregnant women, and raping girls, women and even the elderly.
