About :

The first InterRegio was operated by DB in 1988. The new train concept was intended to replace the outdated D-train. With modernized carriages and a new interior design, the company initially achieved great success. But this was only short-lived, because in 2006 the DB stopped InterRegio traffic. The film shows the relatively short history of the InterRegios - presented in old films and many pictures from the active period. Particularly interesting: the variety of series that were used over the years. For example, the star locomotives of the 103 and 120 series, but also workhorses such as the 232 or 218 series pulled the blue ribbon on rails. Enjoy watching.
