Lanz Bulldog. The name of this German tractor probably means little to you, and many of you are hearing it for the first time. Although, even today in Europe, especially in Germany, wheeled tractors are often habitually called "bulldogs". Initially, "Bulldog" is just the name of a single-cylinder engine, which could be purchased in a stationary version as a drive for various machines and units. This engine could run on almost any type of liquid fuel, from crude oil, fuel oil to sunflower or rapeseed oil. Lanz Bulldog became the first serial tractor in the world to have an oil engine installed, and which in various modifications was installed on tractors of this company for more than three decades. The sound of the "Bulldog" engine is unique, and the vibrations it creates are such that the tractor resembles an impatient racehorse before a race. All this gives the car a special charm, which is why it is now one of the most popular and desired models among collectors of vintage equipment.
