If I were asked the absolute secret to making orchids bloom, I would definitely answer light. When we bring the orchid home, we usually put it in a place where we can enjoy the bloom and this place in most cases is on a piece of furniture far enough away from the window and therefore from the light source. In reality, when you are told the typical phrase "orchids need little light" it means that they do not want to receive direct sunlight but still want a very bright place. Here, this bright place is found right in front of a window possibly exposed to the south east or west, taking care in the summer to shield the hours in which the sun beats with a very light curtain while in the winter the plants can take (given the low temperatures) even direct sunlight since this will not be so strong as to cause sunburn on the plant. If like me you do not have a house with the right exposure, but also for those who are lucky enough to have it, you need to integrate with growlights which are artificial lamps that reproduce sunlight. Hoping that this video can shed light on this fundamental aspect and can help you improve your cultivation ❤️ I would have liked to leave you the links in the description but since I recently opened the channel I don't have this sharing option yet so you can write to me on my Instagram channel: orchideephalenopsis (find the channel link on my profile) ????????
