This Clinical Session is linked to the Master in Animal Assisted Therapy. https://www.isep.es/curso/master-en-t... Humans have an ancestral relationship with other animal species. Some of them have become part, not only of people's own environmental environment, but also a fundamental part of many families that we now know as multispecies. This special relationship forged thousands of years ago has left a mark on our development as a species that, today, has its translation into a multitude of benefits at a physical, social, mental and emotional level, both for people and for the animals that accompany us. This is the basis of why dogs or horses are introduced into therapeutic, educational or social intervention processes. In this clinical session, we will see some of these benefits and the biological and psychological mechanisms that trigger them. Taught by David Ordóñez.
