With a large and experienced gang, we stormed the highest peak in Romania: Moldoveanu 2544m. We chose to honor this peak, choosing the more difficult route, from the northern slope, through Valea Vistei. In total, I climbed 1600m. We had to: cross a river cross a tongue of snow drive from bar to bar on the ridge Let's not forget the 3rd highest peak in Romania: Vistea Mare 2527m, from where, for me, the view was more beautiful. It was also my first experience in Fagaras. The climbs are rougher, and the peaks are steeper than in Retezat.
