The dream is over! They wanted to successfully defend their title as German champions in guard dancing - the two young trainers of the Baunatal City Guard with their dancers. To show that they don't just swing their legs for fun at Carnival, but that they practice high-performance sport all year round. Corona has ruined everything. First the short-term postponement of the championship tournament, then the complete cancellation for 2020: no title defense. Nevertheless, the two volunteer trainers have always motivated themselves and their girls. They coached the dancers from their home office, repeatedly checking their performance on the monitor. The goal: to present a new show to an audience at least by the end of the year and the start of the 20/21 carnival season. Then another blow: no carnival possible, everything canceled, everywhere. A year of disappointments, of shattered dreams. But they are determined to hold out until tournaments are possible again!
