Peace be upon the Imams of guidance, the lamps of darkness, the flags of piety, the men of understanding, the men of wisdom, the refuge of mankind, the inheritors of the prophets, the highest example, the best call, and the proofs of Allah upon the people of this world, the Hereafter, and the first, and the mercy and blessings of Allah. Peace be upon the places of knowledge of Allah and the dwellings of blessing. Allah, the mines of Allah’s wisdom, the guardians of Allah’s secret, the bearers of Allah’s Book, the successors of Allah’s Prophet, the descendants of Allah’s Messenger, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and Allah’s mercy and blessings. Peace be upon the callers to Allah, the guides to what pleases Allah, the steadfast in Allah’s command, the perfect in Allah’s love, the sincere in the monotheism of Allah, the manifesters of Allah’s command and prohibition, and His honored servants who do not precede Him in speech and are by His command. They know, and the mercy and blessings of Allah, peace be upon the Imams, the preachers, the guiding leaders, the noble governors, the defenders, the protectors, the people of remembrance, the ones in authority, the remnant of Allah, His best, His party, the repository of His knowledge, His proof, His path, His light, His evidence, and the mercy and blessings of Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone, without partner, as Allah has testified to Himself, and His angels and those of His creation who possess knowledge have testified to Him. There is no god but He, the Almighty, the Wise. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His chosen servant and His chosen Messenger, whom He sent with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religions, even though the polytheists hate it. And I bear witness that you are the rightly-guided Imams, the guided ones. The infallible, the honored, the close, the pious, the truthful, the chosen, the obedient to Allah, the upholders of His command, the workers of His will, the winners of His honor. He chose you with His knowledge, approved of you for His unseen, selected you for His secret, selected you with His power, honored you with His guidance, singled you out with His proof, selected you for His light, supported you with His spirit, and approved of you as successors in His land, and proofs for His creation, and supporters of His religion, and guardians of His secret, and treasurers of His knowledge, and repositories of His wisdom, and interpreters of His revelation, and pillars of His monotheism, and witnesses over His creation, and flags for His servants, and a beacon in His lands, and guides to His path. May God protect you from error, and secure you from trials, and purify you from filth, and remove from you impurity. And He purified you with a thorough purification, so you magnified His majesty, magnified His status, glorified His generosity, perpetuated His remembrance, confirmed His covenant, perfected the covenant of obedience to Him, advised Him in secret and in public, called to His path with wisdom and good preaching, sacrificed yourselves in His pleasure, were patient with what befell you on His side, and established prayer. And you have given zakat, enjoined what is right, forbade what is wrong, and striven in the cause of Allah as it should be striven for, until you proclaimed His call, clarified His obligations, established His limits, spread His laws and His traditions, and in doing so you have become pleased with Him, submitted to His judgment, and believed in those of His messengers who have passed away. Whoever turns away from you is a heretic, whoever does not adhere to you will follow you, whoever neglects your rights will perish, and the truth is with you, in you, from you, and to you, and you are its people and its source. The inheritance of prophethood is with you, and the return of creatio
