The first book in the series Post-war How Moscow deceived the West in 1945 is available at: https://powojnie.sklep.pl #Historia #Powojnie It was one of the greatest crimes committed by Stalin. His decision after the end of World War II led to a great famine in the Ukrainian Soviet Republic. According to Ukrainian historians, there could have been as many as a million victims of Moscow's brutal policy. Only the areas of Western Ukraine, where partisans were actively operating, were spared. At the same time, anyone who tried to escape there from the East was caught and either shot on the spot or sent home. There were acts of cannibalism. Children also died. Stalin was perfectly aware of the scale of the tragedy, but it did not interest him much. The confiscated grain and bread from Ukraine went to the countries of the People's Democracy, as well as Leningrad and Moscow. The ordeal of the inhabitants of the Ukrainian Soviet Republic lasted almost two years. Most of the photos used in the film come from the public domain.
