Dom José Falcão reflects on the goodness of Christ. Everything that comes from God is good. He quotes the following texts: THE GOODNESS OF CHRIST Everything that comes from God is good You know the goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9 Yes, so sublime is the mystery of divine goodness, we unanimously proclaim it: manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, announced to the people, believed in throughout the world, exalted in glory! 1 Timothy 3:16 The goodness of God our Savior and his love for men appeared. And he saved us, not because of works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy alone, through the baptism of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, who was abundantly given to us through Christ our Savior, so that by his grace we might be justified in hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-7 For everything God created is good, and nothing is condemnable if it is used with thanksgiving. 1 Timothy 4:4 Consider then the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but kindness toward you, assuming that you continue in that kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off. Romans 11:22 Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is true. Do you, O man, who judges those who practice such things, and yet does the same thing yourself, do you think you will escape God's judgment? Or do you despise the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness invites you to repentance? But by your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who will repay each person according to his deeds. Romans 2:2-6 I, Paul, urge you by the gentleness and kindness of Christ, who when I am humble among you is bold with you when I am away. I urge you not to use my authority when I am present, which I intend to use, with certain people who imagine that we act with human intentions. For though we live in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 2 Corinthians 10:1-3 No temptation has overtaken you that is beyond human strength. God is faithful: he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation he will also provide the way to endure it and to escape. 1 Corinthians 10:13 ????Leave your Like ????Subscribe to our channel ????Activate notifications / @redeseculo21 ????Send your message ⏩ Share! ✨ Become a member of this channel and get benefits: / @redeseculo21 ????
