Hello everyone! George Harris here. As always, the night started with that unique energy that characterizes us. I talked about how ridiculous insurance prices are in this country, especially home insurance. My goodness! Isn't it incredible how expensive everything has become, especially if you live in a condo? Oh, and of course, how can you forget the free therapy your manicurist gives you while she's doing your nails? Yes, those conversations they have while she's doing your nails and you tell her all your problems, that's priceless! But it makes me think, is it really fair to them? As I always say, pay your workers, don't do bartering all the time! Then, we talked about how Miami has changed, especially after the pandemic. Miami is no longer the quiet retirement retreat of years ago; Now it's a city full of life, but also chaos, to the point that Venezuelans feel fear in Miami Beach! Also, I had a segment where I thanked an award I received from the mayor of El Doral, which was very special for me. It's always nice to feel that your work as a comedian is appreciated, especially because often in our culture, comedians don't get the recognition they deserve. Of course, I couldn't leave out some of the crazy things we see on a daily basis, like people paying for insurance of all kinds here in the United States, because yes, without good insurance, it seems you can't survive! And how could I forget to mention everyday problems, like the drugged sharks in Florida that make going to the beach an adventure, or the hilarious land acquisition battles in American history, where it seems like everything was solved with a check. Finally, I talked about how in other countries, like in Europe, vacations are sacred and how here in the United States, we feel almost guilty for taking them. It's crazy how work culture can vary so much from one place to another. And to close the night, I remembered those vacation times in Venezuela, the meals on the beach, the old times that always bring a smile, and how those experiences shape us and remind us of where we come from. It was a show full of laughter, reflections, and a little nostalgia. I am forever grateful to be able to share these nights with you, my dear audience.
