Hello, my friends! It is with great pleasure that I share this reunion I had with two of the most outstanding guitarists in the history of Brazilian music: Alessandro Penezzi and Zé Barbeiro, my long-time friends. Every time we meet, it is a new celebration. We played for you “O Voo da Mosca”, a waltz by Jacob do Bandolim known for its beauty and difficulty, after all, it has 1561 consecutive notes without pauses in its original version. Here, we show an arrangement of mine that I made when I was 15 years old and that, later, was played by me, accompanied by Zé Barbeiro himself, at the Visa Brazilian Music Award, which I won in 2004, at the age of 19, as best instrumentalist. In this arrangement, there is a transition from waltz to baião when returning from the repetition of the third part, respecting the original melodic line (oddly enough, it became even more difficult). I hope you like it! After all, having Penezzi and Zé Barbeiro together can only result in success. Leave your like and share this video with lovers of music made from the heart! Subscribe!
