Cristina and Paca relive the intensity of the struggle for labour rights, assembly and strike rights in the early seventies and the terrible consequences that defending those rights could have. From the murder of Pedro Patiño, in the construction strike of 1971, to the so-called Trial 1001, in 1973. A trial in which 10 territorial leaders of Comisiones Obreras were accused and sentenced to 21 years in prison for meeting in a convent. The two friends remember how they became the only two female lawyers on the team of 10 defense lawyers, the incredible international mobilization that took place, and the enormous tension they experienced during that trial in which they came to fear for their own lives. They also talk about the importance of the fact that those rights can regress if young people do not continue with the fight.
