With this challenge, a two-bedroom house was built, each with its own bathroom, a full kitchen, a half bathroom, a laundry room, a large pool and a beautiful terrace. Upon entering, we are greeted by a very friendly TV room that invites you to relax. Unlike other spaces we have visited, in this house you cannot see the back, but the terrain was initially so irregular that it allows us to discover each space as we advance. Later we find the staircase area, which was originally intended to be a reading area, but today it is more of a beautiful transition space, very well lit thanks to the large window that can be seen from the façade, which is frosted to provide privacy and attenuate the strong sun of Mérida. If we go up the beautiful open staircase made of dzalam wood, we find a bedroom whose unusual layout - the bathroom is first - due to the fact that priority was given to making a balcony to enjoy the beautiful view of the terrace, with its pool and a façade in the background that reminds us of the Mayan ruins of Dzibichaltún. Going downstairs, before entering the kitchen, we find a hallway that has a laundry room and a half bathroom that makes perfect use of the space, since this is when the house is only 3 meters wide. The kitchen is quite complete, with beautiful monochromatic drawers and top quality materials such as quartz, which allow for more cleanliness and practicality to the environment. Leaving the kitchen we find the terrace, which has a beautiful pool and tropical vegetation that describing it as abundant would be an understatement. This pool has a wooden hallway and gives us the illusion of being wider than it seems, it is a very well-used space. At the back of the house, finally, we find a large bedroom that has double height to create a skylight and better illuminate the space. The bathroom at the back has a natural space that manages to connect with nature.
