Something that has been discussed in Lithuania for a good decade is coming. Those who will start using a new prepaid card from January will have to provide personal data, and the SIM card itself will have to be registered. Two out of three mobile operators say that it will not cost people anything. But will the innovation really help reduce electronic fraud? The discussion is led by Virgilijus Stundžia, Chief Advisor of the Electronic Communications Regulation Group of the Communications Regulatory Authority, Asta Buitkutė, Head of Public Relations at Tele2, Paulius Kudarauskas, Head of Private Clients at Bitė, and Audrius Stasiulaitis, Spokesperson at Telia Lietuvos.
