We all know them - the small and large illusions that accompany our lives. Sometimes they are lies that we tell ourselves to protect ourselves from unpleasant truths. Other times they are deceptions from outside that blind us, manipulate us or lull us into a false sense of security. But at some point the moment comes when the truth comes to light. The end of an illusion can be painful and shocking, but it is also an opportunity. It opens the door to clarity, freedom and a more honest life. In today's podcast episode I discuss with you, among other things: • Why illusions arise • How projections feed and maintain illusions • Dealing with the end of an illusion Illusions are often rooted in fear - the fear of rejection, conflict or loss of control. They are a protective mechanism that works in the short term, but always causes damage in the long term. Before we disappoint others, we often deceive ourselves. Some deceptions are deliberate in nature. They arise when a person tries to distort the truth, such as gaslighting, in order to exercise power or secure their advantage. This type of deception is particularly destructive because it profoundly shakes trust. As painful as the end of a deception may be, it always contains a gift. Clarity.
