The TheTrainTv team wishes you all the best for 2025 with a complete film. The E18 was supposed to be the express train electric locomotive of the future. The first machine was delivered in 1935. But only 53 were built. The war prevented larger numbers, which further decimated the already small stock. And so only three were used again by the DB 39 and the DR. The DB ended operations in 1984. We show you film scenes from almost 50 years of operation and of course the current museum locomotives! The E 18 19, E 18 31, E 18 03 and the blue E 18 047 are running for you.
