A film by Kosta Boutsikaris and Emmett Brennan that popularizes permaculture. Featuring a wide variety of projects, concepts, and people, the film presents multifaceted permaculture in a way that will be understandable to a wide audience. We hear everywhere that we should minimize our eco-footprint and reduce our impact. But what if we turned this idea on its head? What if, instead of trying to do “less harm,” we tried to “do more good.” What if we made the eco-footprint beneficial? What if we could meet our needs while improving the health and well-being of our planet? This is the premise of the film “Abodes: A Permaculture Perspective.” The film “Abodes” is a tour of successful permaculture sites, meeting people who practice permaculture.
