A journey into the belly of the deepest and most suffering Taranto, that of the Tamburi neighborhood, the district that has always hosted the workers of the large steel industry (first Italisider, then Ilva) and has become another city within the city of two seas. An incursion together with the mayor Ezio Stefàno, a year after his first election, to see first-hand the environmental and social degradation of a real ghetto-neighborhood, to lift the veil of silence on the pollution caused by the steelworks and on the shameful conditions of the parking-houses and to make the mayor of Taranto take on a precise commitment: to try to untie one of the most difficult knots that the whole of Italy knows.
