About :

LG refrigerator, model CG-401EMDV, purchased about 5-7 years ago. At first, there was a floating defect in the display - sometimes it turned on, sometimes it didn't. In the hinge unit above the upper door bracket, 3 wires from the harness from the main board (on the roof of the refrigerator) to the door display were frayed or broken. Ringing the wire from the ground connector with a tester - break. Finding the break location - under the insulating fabric connecting the wires into a harness in the unit above the upper hinge bracket. Soldering, insulation, twisting, reverse assembly.
