Eng. Henryk Bronowicki - born on February 9, 1948 in Kozłów. As a civilian test pilot, performing the first flights, he flew 488 newly produced serial aircraft: piston, turboprop and jet such as: An-2, TB-9 Socata, M-18 Dromader, M-20 Mewa, M-26 Iskierka, An-28, M-28 Skytruck, M-28 Bryza, M-15 Belphegor, TS-11 Iskra, I-22 Iryda. He performed over 14,000 flights on 56 aircraft as a commander, during 9562 hours, including 3283 hours in test flights. He performed fifteen parachute jumps, including one rescue jump. He finished his work at PZL-Mielec in 1997, moving to communication aviation. He worked as an airline pilot at Eurolot in Warsaw. He retired in 2004 at the age of 56.
