Dan snider, for some it might be an unknown name, for others instead it might be easier to recognize his works: such as "Drake & Josh", "Zoey101" and "Victorious" or the most well-known in Italy "iCarly" and "Sam & Cat", all extremely popular among pre-teens in the early 2000s. Dan Schneider is an American actor and screenwriter, but more importantly one of the major producers of the television network Nickelodeon with a career that lasted 25 years, starting in 1993 and ending in 2018. and is responsible for the successful careers of numerous stars: amanda bynes, Jamie lyn spears, Ariana grande, miranda cosgrove, Janette mccurdy and many others, but these are the names that will be at least partly familiar to you. it is undeniable that something shady and peculiar happened during the time in which dan worked with nickelodeon. his production company was called snider backery, and in fact it churned out real successes, one after the other. and success, in the world of television, means money: lots and lots of money. nickelodeon and dan snider, however, have already been discussed many many times on social networks by numerous youtubers and tik tokers. Although it is easy to have happy and nostalgic memories linked to his TV series, watching them in hindsight could highlight some not indifferent aspects (editor's note: decidedly disturbing), as as children it would be difficult, if not impossible, to be able to interpret them in the "right" way. Without wanting to go into specifics, suffice it to say that in all his series there are clips in which, completely without context, the feet of some of the female characters are shown in close-up, or even worse in which these are not subtly sexualized, showing the actresses in completely inappropriate attitudes both for the target audience and towards themselves, at the time decidedly too young and underage. Dan always tried to include as many scenes with feet as possible even if they had nothing to do with the episode. Even the Nickelodeon logo went from being a stain to being a foot. Now, I would like to remain as impartial as possible because let's face it, it would be convenient for me: nickelodeon is a gigantic channel, with incredible shows and keeping quiet would only give me what a chance, after all everyone has done it, let's just say I have a lot of questions, here.
