I learned about the craft of making shells from Valea Izei from aunts Ilieș Măricuța (59 years old) and Țiplea Ioana (65 years old) from Ieud of Iza and while working on one of them. With a lot of skill and care, this piece of clothing is made which is worn on the day of the celebration.
