The Colony - Science fiction radio play by Philip K. Dick from 1986 Several scientists and military personnel are sent to Planet Blue. As the environmental conditions on Earth are deteriorating, the expedition team is to explore the planet and determine whether it is suitable for colonization. The scientist David Friendly sees a danger in the project and never tires of warning against the expedition. However, Blue offers ideal conditions for settlement. There are no hostile life forms. The planet appears to be a paradise. But then strange incidents start to occur more frequently and the scientist David Friendly even claims to have been exposed to murderous forces. At first his report is ignored by the other expedition members. Only when a member of the team dies do the others begin to take his warnings seriously.
