During the flood, opposition and coalition politicians do not even pretend to have a ceasefire, but Radosław Gruca, the host of "Suspicious Politicians", gave up his regular podcast format during the week of the national tragedy and proposes a podcast experiment. ▶️ SEE MORE: • SUSPICIOUS POLITICIANS On the front line of the fight against the elements, not everything works like clockwork, and both the mistakes and achievements of individual politicians will certainly affect the next polls and the electoral chances of the leading figures of the Polish scene. However, the analysis of who gains and who loses, which Błażej Makarewicz and Radosław Gruca present every week, will not appear in the podcast this week. The reason? Both hosts agreed that in the era of fighting the great flood, whether someone represents PiS or the coalition on October 15 should not matter. The only thing that counts is effective help for flood victims. Therefore, in order to signal his reluctance to make current politics based on human tragedy, Radosław Gruca will this time lift the veil of secrets of the Presidential Palace. However, the pretext is not the discussion about President Andrzej Duda's visit to flooded areas in Silesia and Opole. The author of the podcast takes a closer look at the entourage of the head of state, because informants convince that President Duda's chaotic actions are related to, and as some believe, are the result of, the rivalry between the head of the presidential cabinet, Marcin Mastalerek, and the head of the National Security Bureau, Jacek Siewiera. Although both have just turned forty, and the difference in their achievements is obvious, it is difficult to determine who in this group deserves to be called the alpha male. If only competences were decisive, Jacek Siewiera - an anesthesiologist and doctor of medical sciences, lawyer and lieutenant colonel of the Polish Army reserve, would have no competition compared to most of Duda's people. However, in Polish politics, competences rarely translate into the rank and position of individual ministers or MPs. That is why it was not Siewiera, but Mastalerek who was christened "vice president" after returning to active politics, and he himself flirts with the media, convincing them that he is being encouraged to run for president. Interestingly, the head of the National Security Bureau is doing better in the polls of the two, perhaps because he stands out a lot from the clichéd names. Their rivalry translates into the president's degree of aggression and determination, but it is Mastalerek who is undoubtedly the author of President Duda's most hardcore moves. An idea that echoed even overseas was the president's trip to the USA. The reason caught attention, because unexpectedly the goal was to meet Donald Trump, the former president defeated in the last elections by a representative of the Democrats, the current US President Joe Biden. The idea of the acting head of state meeting before the elections with one of the two candidates in the US presidential elections, who also does not hold any office, was widely assessed negatively. The fact that the Trump-Duda meeting will not take place on the planned date, because it was canceled by Trump, has additionally ridiculed the Presidential Palace. It is not at all impossible that the meeting will take place on another date. President Andrzej Duda's decisions in the last year of his presidency significantly complicate the governance of the current coalition, which can boast at least three strong candidates willing to replace Duda, led by the mayor of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski. The fact that the United Right still does not have a candidate selected to run in the elections, and the list of potential contenders is long but not very convincing, mobilizes smaller political parties that suffer from the dominance of Donald Tusk and Jarosław Kaczyński's groups on the Polish stage. In order not to be dominated, they are looking for someone who will be a dark horse in the race. Siewiera, as a very popular and respected interviewee in all the most important public affairs programs, is increasingly trying to distance himself from both camps, sometimes even his statements contradict the narrative of the Palace, as when the police led out MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik, but not only. The hosts have once again postponed the date of the conversation with Siewiera at the request of the head of the National Security Bureau, but they still believe that it will happen soon. No one dares to claim that Siewiera is looking for excuses, because it is clear to the naked eye that he is the most active person in Duda's entourage, including during the flood. Radosław Gruca invites you to an exceptional conversation with an expert and correspondent of Polish media from the USA, Radosław Korzycki. Korzycki, who has already covered 6 previous campaign finals in the USA, will explain
