Report dedicated to the history of the recycling giant Le Relais, a social enterprise that has been fighting against clothing waste for thirty years. It has become an institution. Le Relais is a cooperative that belongs to its employees. This report follows the different stages of clothing recycling, from collection from terminals placed in the streets where individuals kindly drop off the clothes they no longer want, to sorting the clothes: those that are fit for use are intended for solidarity second-hand stores, those worn will be crushed before being recycled. Today, Le Relais must face competition: example of Next Textiles association, a subsidiary of the Sita groups that won the call for tenders in the city of Orléans. Director: Laurent Lesage
