During the corona crisis, Groningen residents are walking a lot. In the 37th episode of the City Walk, Beno Hofman and Mirre van de Klok visit the Lewenborg district. The Lewenborg district is located in the east of the city and was built in the seventies. The district is named after the Leweburg, which is a castle of the noble Lewe family. A special detail: the castle was not located where the district was eventually built. In this episode of the City Walk, Beno and Mirre visit the first completed house in the district, the well-known shopping center and of course the LeRoy area. The LeRoy area is a nature reserve in the district and is named after artist Louis le Roy. He believes that people and nature can work better together than that nature is suppressed by people. This is clearly reflected in the impressive area. In the next episode of the City Walk, Beno and Mirre visit the Zuiderdiep again.
