In today's degraded, ugly and neo-paganized world, where can we find the charm, poetry and nectar of the Christmases of yesteryear? In Greek mythology, nectar was the sacred drink destined to immortalize the Olympian gods. In times of faith, beauty and nobility, Christmas ornaments and music formed in homes, streets, stores, in short, everywhere, an environment of peace, lightness and joy, in harmony with the innocence of the Baby Jesus. Its own environment causing souls the impression of sipping the nectar of eternity. There seemed to be a kind of dew in the air, descended from above and brought by the Son of God and Mary, so that men could ascend to Heaven. How many people have lived as children this time of so many joys, the holiest and purest, the most beautiful and truest? Maybe few! May the Virgin Mother of God make this small video, where the wisdom of Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira shines, an occasion for grace to awaken in the hearts of all of us enormous longing for this nectar, this charm and this poetry. Everyone, yes, because we can miss times not lived, but for which our nature was created. The Revolution denied us, but our souls yearn for the joys of Christmas, as our bodies yearn for oxygen. Nothing in Doutor Plinio is nostalgic sterility. Everything is certain of the Kingdom of Mary, promised in Fátima. However, the main reason for its certainty is the prayer taught and recited by Our Lord Jesus Christ: “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”. This prayer is infallible: it corresponds to God's plans for the order of the universe, the highest good of creation, teaches Saint Thomas. Here is the text of this video, taken from Doctor Plinio's lecture, when celebrating the Assumption of Our Lady, 1980. “The nectar, the poetry and the charm of the Christmases of yesteryear. Every Christmas Eve, until today, they participated in “Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht!”. Christmas Eve already had a nectar, a poetry, a charm! Everyone, through a discernment of spirits, felt and knew the grace of the Baby Jesus! The grace of the Baby Jesus! Boy descended like dew from the highest heaven, that is, descended from the most sacred cloister of Our Lady. The Son of God, without transgressing his mother's intact virginity, entered the world. The Virgin had a son! And the earth is ecstatic. It’s wonderful!” @ StilleNacht @ NataisDeOutrora @MeninoJesus
