Salento is a magnificent territory, in this video we see up close which are the best beaches! There are beaches on the Adriatic coast that are rocky but very beautiful like Ciolo, the natural pool of Marina Serra and the Acquaviva inlet and equally beautiful beaches but with fine white sand on the Ionian coast including Punta Prosciutto which in my opinion is the most beautiful for the crystal clear water and the white sand that makes it look like a truly Caribbean beach. Some beaches are more difficult to reach like Porto Selvaggio which has a walk of almost 1.5 km before the beach (which you can also do by shuttle if you want) but the scenery when you arrive is always very beautiful so it is absolutely worth it. On the Adriatic coast there are also beautiful places to visit like Roca Vecchia with its Grotta della Poesia and the Faraglioni di Sant'Andrea with the Arco degli Amore.
